Are you looking for someone to join you in your journey of dealing with a struggle? What is Walk and Talk?
Walk and talk is a modality of therapy where client and therapist walk while doing the work of therapy. We will walk at any pace that works for your body and needs. We can go slow, take breaks on benches, smell the flowers, or move at a fast clip if needed for processing. It can even mostly be sitting at a picnic table or on a park bench with less movement. There is so much research on the power of being outdoors and walking in support of reducing mental health symptoms and improving creativity in problem solving as well as a being a type of moving meditation. Ask me more to find out if this type of therapy might support your goals.
